Digital Marketing Manager - Retail

My client is one of the worlds biggest social media platforms, and they are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager/Client Solutions Manager to join the organisation for a 12 month contract.

Customer and Industry Knowledge:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Retail vertical, client business, accompanying solutions
- Understand key client relationships to influence decision making
- Identify new business opportunities
- Drive best practice of the platform and be seen as a product expert
- Contribute to the optimisation of campaign opportunities by using data and insight
- Develop senior level relationships with clients and agencies
- Understand key relationships within the agency to influence decision making
- Exhibit leadership in all interactions through use of data, analytics, and understanding of the client's business
- Proactively collaborate with cross functional partners
- Identify, create, and implement marketing solutions to achieve measurable business results for clients
- Drive education on the product, company updates and share best practices as relevant to client or agency's business
- Influence product innovation based on client needs and feedback
- Media Planning, Strategy, and Measurement
- Translate business objectives into campaign strategy
- Manage planning, execution, ongoing reporting and optimization of campaigns
- Provide and oversee marketing strategy, align with client's key business objectives
- Translate business objectives into campaign strategy, proposing campaign structures and implementing measurement solution (derive actionable insights, synthesize results into recommendations)
- Manage planning, execution, ongoing reporting and optimization of campaigns (oversee budget spend, manage internal analytics and dashboards, provide optimisation and real time targeting recommendations)
- Build and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners
- Project manage work streams (coordination and execution of initiatives)
- Business and revenue management (revenue forecasting and delivery, co-lead and manage account planning)
- Strive for operational excellence
- Full understanding of portfolio and progress towards targets
- Identify up-sell opportunities across your accounts and partner with the Client/Agency Partners to drive incremental revenue

Skills:
- Expertise in performance marketing required, ideally from working with retail and E-commerce clients (either client side or agency side
- Experience and familiarity with products
- Experience working directly with marketing, media and/or consulting companies in one of the following functions: Direct Response marketing, data and technology solutions, ad-tech, partnerships, or CRM
- Understanding of major advertising success metrics
- Demonstrated understanding of UK and Ireland retail client landscape and operations, with existing relationships with marketing decision makers within these
- Demonstrated experience working within media agency landscape
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience aligning solutions and measurement to client business objectives
- Experience planning, delivering, and executing media, measurement, and creative strategy
- Experience presenting to external stakeholders at a variety of levels
- Strong project management abilities, with experience completing projects with minimal direction with high attention to detail
- Experience providing insights and campaign optimizations/recommendations
- Able to extract insights and customer data independently using Excel, scripting languages and other tools
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Experience leading and managing initiatives with support from team/manager
- Experience supporting the execution of account growth strategy and action plans as part of a team
- Experience analyzing data sets and delivering actionable insights
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions
- Ability to guide adoption of vertical products/solutions
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders - anticipating challenges and objections, providing solutions and guidance with support
