Digital Marketing Manager - Product Launch

Our client in the financial space is launching a brand new consumer-focused platform this August and needs an experienced marketing expert to lead the charge!

Are you exceptional at online customer lead generation? Have a passion for creating relationships throughout the consumer buyer’s journey? Do you love creating content that speaks to potential and current clients? Are you fanatical about metrics and tweaking your customer acquisition programs to optimize them? If this sounds like you, you might just be who we are looking for!

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to help us create and nurture relationships with potential and existing consumer clients nationwide. You’ll craft compelling content and deliver engaging campaigns using multiple platforms to entice prospects to get to know us (and ultimately become clients) and to nurture the clients we have to expand their relationship with us. You’ll do all of this among a dynamic, focused team in a high-energy environment offering new-to-the-world financial services and products.

About the Opportunity:

You will work directly with the CEO and founder. This is a ground floor opportunity in a new division with almost unlimited upward potential. While experience in digital marketing and online lead generation is critical, candidate character qualities are equally valued. The ideal candidate will:

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day:

  • Create demand generation strategy and plan

  • Execute demand generation strategy and plan with excellence

  • Come up with creative ideas for design, layout, and messaging

  • Research current customers and potential market to segment and tailor marketing efforts and messaging

  • Research and apply demand generation best practices

  • Perform A/B and multivariate testing

  • Track and report results

  • Select and coordinate with external marketing vendors

  • Help select and implement marketing automation software

  • Master marketing automation software

  • Copyedit for grammar, structure, and flow

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

What does it take to do this job?

  • 3-10 years of marketing communications or digital marketing under your belt and/or a degree in marketing communication, advertising, or related fields is a must

  • Advanced knowledge in marketing automation, social media customer acquisition, and content marketing processes: campaign creation, lead management, and online marketing

  • Experience and expertise in affiliate marketing is desirable, but not required

  • Experience with marketing automation systems (Hubspot, Hoot Suite, etc. knowledge a plus)

  • Demonstrable expertise in executing integrated marketing programs

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills — with a mastery of copywriting basics and grammatical principals and an editor’s eagle eye

  • Excruciatingly detail-oriented

  • Out-of-this-world project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects flawlessly under tight campaign deadlines

  • Agility is key: you think on your feet

  • Analytical: you love dabbling in data, metrics, and number crunching 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
