Digital Marketing Manager | 4- 6 Month Contract

The Digital Marketing Manager will to play a key role in driving brand awareness and customer acquisition programs to support all online and console gaming platforms, products, and services. This person will work closely with outside agencies and internal stakeholders to manage and optimize our paid digital marketing channels, including Search, Display, YouTube and Social. The ideal candidate must be willing to both plan and execute the tactical workload while working effectively within a team environment. He/she must be comfortable presenting and communicating to all levels of management, and have the ability to work with and coordinate feedback from cross functional teams both internal and external. A high energy level, and ability to function and prosper in a dynamic environment, and a proven track record of solid accomplishments is a requirement for success in this position. As an individual who will promote best practices for direct marketing, this role involves a number of important responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Lead the effective development and implementation of digital marketing plans and strategies to achieve brand awareness and customer acquisition goals.
• Manage and optimize SEM, GDN, YouTube and Facebook campaigns. Collaborate with external agencies to develop and maintain keyword lists as well as analyze performance and define bids.
• Manage digital advertising placements. Work closely with external marketing partners and internal stakeholders to execute programs on schedule and within budget.
• Analyze and compare weekly/monthly/quarterly performance of direct marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for continuous improvement (e.g., testing, new approaches, etc.)
• Work with analytics team and monitor and report site performance/metrics. Leverage metrics to drive traffic and conversions to meet aggressive business goals.
• Work with marketing, design and production teams on UX improvements to drive increased sales of premium items.
• Project-manage design, copy and technical implementation for marketing programs. Interface with and manage internal and external partners for program development (including advertising and creative agencies, product development and design, QA and engineering).
• Share direct marketing learnings, including best-practices and innovations.
Required Qualifications • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and/or social media marketing with a leading digital offering/brand a must.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results; disciplined self-starter.
• Hands-on business analytics experience and proven ability to use analytics to drive successful marketing and/or merchandising programs.
• Proven project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
• Self Starter approach to work, ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work around tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with and influence technical, product and design teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Creativity, and strong problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with online gaming communities, video game web sites, and a passion for mobile, social and video games preferred.

Required Education BA in Marketing, Business or related field. MBA pref.
