Digital Marketing-Email/Social Media focused

Are you seeking a great opportunity to demonstrate your digital marketing ability with current technologies and trends? This is an excellent, long-term contract opportunity with a highly respected organization.

In this role you will:

- plan, execute and optimize email and social media marketing campaigns

- working with internal stakeholders to strategize and execute email marketing campaigns and social media activities that align with marketing and sales objectives

- actively manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube and other digital platforms).

- strategize with internal stakeholders on digital marketing campaigns and set measurable goals and objectives all activities.

-lead email marketing and social media campaign workflow; content development, scheduling, optimization and deployment.

- analyze and report on campaign/activity results and metrics.

- work directly with creative teams; provide direction/feedback on social posts, email design templates, complete HTML template testing and modifications.

- work with internal teams as well as external vendors
- conduct rigorous quality assurance testing on emails and review social content prior to deployment.

- own email strategy from start to completion inclucing audience segmentation, content, email design, and campaign execution.

- ensure email and social media communication is in compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation

- interact with users on social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.

You should have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or other related field.

- 4+ years’ experience in a medium-to-large scale digital inbound marketing team.

- B2C campaign management and demand generation experience.

- experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and campaign management tools.

- knowledge of email marketing best practices, digital performance metrics and Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation.

- knowledge of lead generation best practices.

- knowledge of social media marketing best practices

-ability to edit HTML/CSS code and knowledge of email coding best practices and troubleshooting.

- experience with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).

- experience managing a large number of email marketing and social media campaigns.

- experience working with Siebel Marketing and/or email deployment tools such as MailChimp, Exact Target or Silverpop

- experience with email marketing operations, technology, testing techniques and platforms.

- knowledge of and competency in project management processes including planning tasks, resource allocations, risk management, time management, financial management, monitoring and reporting, documenting and record keeping.

- ability to multi-task, managing multiple complex, multi-phase projects at various stages

- expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project management plan, status reports, communications plan, budget and schedules.

- ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and experience prioritizing
