Digital Marketing Director

Our client, a leader in the Toy Industry is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for their Girls team! This is an ASAP Need!

You will be responsible for overall strategy, planning for Digital Media and analysis and generation of insights and recommendations to drive the Digital Marketing business. He/She will be recognized across the organization as a new media expert and analytically gifted with the ability to produce insightful analyses that will directly impact the company’s overall online performance. They will be responsible for performing an everyday consulting role for internal business partners, managing external digital media agency and resolving debate with an analytical perspective that synthesizes insights from appropriate sources. The Director will report to the VP, Digital Brand Marketing,


  • Digital Marketing:

  • Leads the planning and strategy development of all US based digital media programming, working closely with Digital Marketing brand directors, Search Manager and Media agency

  • Directs and controls the activities of the web analytics function.

  • Work directly with Media Agencies to properly track and analyze media campaigns

  • Tracks trends and metrics and recommends adjustments to products, services and techniques based on findings.

  • Drive development of core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b tests that drive fundamental improvements to the business.

  • Manage Agencies:

  • Manage media agency throughout the planning and execution phases.

  • Manage multiple agencies performing multiple responsibilities in the overall analytics process.

  • Measurement / Dashboard / Analysis:
  • Leading a team to create dashboards and working with the team to analyze and strategize all insights from the data to help the Digital Marketing team create programs and executions. Must be able to disseminate data into actionable programming.

  • Accountable for requirements development, extracting, tracking and reporting on site performance and quality metrics

  • Directs the development of research goals and methods for gathering and reporting on web data.

  • Oversees metrics gathering and reporting process.

  • Provide hands-on guidance and (when required) personally perform deep-dives using analytical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets.

  • Ensures that analyses remain responsive to current user practices and emerging technologies.

  • Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.

  • Lead the team in creating holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to Senior Management.

  • IT Collaboration:

  • Directs the selection, development and enhancements of software applications that extract data from the internet and other primary sources.

  • Responsible for RFPs and vendor selection for new software necessary to deliver strategy.

  • Process:

  • Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics, and organizational clarity and alignment for key business metrics.
