Digital Marketing Coordinator

Aquent's Fortune500 client in Woonsocket, RI is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for a 12-month contract (40/hrs, 5 days, on site) with potential to extend beyond. 


This position supports a Senior Marketing Manager on various Marketing projects primarily related to email and direct mail. The focus is on implementation and project management with additional opportunity to support strategic planning and development. The responsibilities include execution of marketing campaigns to drive profitable customer engagement largely through email but also may include direct mail and other channels; management of production calendars; assessment of program effectiveness through review of marketing campaign results, customer service reports; and customer research; and most importantly, helping to manage/coordinate our ESP migration project. As a key member of the Marketing team, this position will be collaborating with many different internal departments (e.g., Creative, Merchandising, Insights & Analytics) and external/agency partners (e.g. Email Service Provider). 

This Marketing Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: 

Coordinating various parts of the Email Service Provider (ESP) migration, which includes, but is not limited to: 
- Improving, documenting and communicating process changes 
- Ensuring flawless campaign execution within the new platform 
- Communicating any needs between providers to migrate campaigns 
- Rolling your sleeves up to make sure we hit project plan deadlines 
- Managing communications to achieve flawless execution of emails and direct mail pieces, on time and on budget, including quality control, coupon set up, proofing and data requests. 
- Executing campaigns, ensuring all messages are on brand with appropriate target audiences and versions 
- Supporting strategic recommendations and insights for the email and direct mail program through analysis of engagement metrics and key sales drivers 
- Participating actively and becoming a thought leader for developing integrated email marketing strategy 

1 - 4 years of strong email marketing experience 
1-3 years of project management (prior marketing or advertising experience is strongly preferred)experience 
Clear understanding of how email marketing strategy integrates into a bigger marketing plan 
Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service to internal/external customers 
Nimbleness, ability to multi-task and adjust workload to meet changing priorities 
Ability to function in a fast-paced, high energy, collaborative environment 
Extreme attention to detail 
Superior communication skills, both written, oral and interpersonal 
Ability to drive actionable insights from both quantitative and qualitative data 
High proficiency with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint 

Preferred qualifications of this Marketing Coordinator are: 

Prior experience with email and/or other digital marketing preferred 
Experience working in a marketing department or advertising agency 
Retail experience
