In this role you will split their time supporting the email and display teams in a variety of functions including the processing/planning of online display and email initiatives, reporting and tracking and you will work closely with the Display Channel Manager, Senior Display Specialist, the email planning team, email production team, marketing communications team and email service provider (Oracle/Responsys).
You will assist the display team in budgeting, reporting, content management and display campaigns and will be responsible for managing promotional email campaign asset preparation with our ESP to produce high quality emails on a weekly basis. This resource will also manage and resolving day to day issues as related to promotional and transactional emails that have been delivered. These can range from customer service calls around email issues, trouble shooting, email list preference maintenance, etc. And the more technical issues around transactional emails such as testing, email going to wrong person, unsubscribes, etc.
The perfect candidate will be extremely detail oriented, a team player and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Major responsibilities and duties:
•Responsible for following the email process that includes ensuring emails are built to specification, quality assurance review of all campaigns and deployment.
•This role will understand the key parameters and inputs such as customer audience, program frequency and personalization.
•General understanding of digital marketing
•Manages each element of assigned email and display campaigns including setup, quality assurance, targeting, testing and performance monitoring
•Project management: Manage the cross functional teams involved in the issue resolution and campaign preparation and deployment following the production process including Reporting/monitoring on digital campaign performance.
-Weekly - Conversant / Retargeting; Responsys, EBay, Chango and Acquisition pilots
-Monthly – Integrated Retargeting, Exclusive Brands, SSGP and all campaigns outside of the integrated campaign
-Monthly – Display dashboard ( Brand, Performance, Paid Social )
-Support reporting analysis, driving to actionable insights
-Monitor weekly / bi-monthly pacing for all campaigns
-Monitor email sends to ensure complete, successful delivery of campaigns
-Audit site retargeting reporting numbers with matching order ID reports from online media vendors
-Issue Resolution: Report out and manage detailed incident reports along with bi-weekly issue report outs looking for trends and repeat issues
-Assist with financial stewardship including processing invoices, vendor set up in SAP, budget and revenue actualization, accruals, reconciling discrepancies with accounting / finance and revenue forecasting.
-Partners closely with other Email Associates, Display Associates and email service provider to maintain production timelines and update calendars, striving for process efficiencies within assigned portfolio of campaigns
-Understand the subscriber database, including creating and updating lists, working with database partners, and segmenting data for targeted e-mail campaigns
-Meet weekly production and launch timelines for ongoing campaigns and develop launch sequence for multiple campaigns
-Experience appending and QA-ing tracking in attribution system preferred
