This position will work collaboratively with the Director, Communications and Communications Coordinator to develop and implement the client online communications strategy—integrating editorial, website, social media, and inbound/outbound marketing to accomplish organizational objectives.
Responsibilities include writing/editing/filming client communications (includes blog posts, newsletter articles, videos, web updates, and social posts) and overall website content strategy, ensuring consistent tone and messaging across digital platforms.

55% • Create, improve, adapt, and optimize all digital communications to drive increased interaction and conversions. Oversee client web properties, ensuring they accurately depict organizational priorities. Develop rolling quarterly editorial calendar for the website to determine how to best feature key messages, highlight timely initiatives, and emphasize specific programs and services. Optimize web content for conversions including ongoing SEO optimization and landing page development.
• Establish benchmarks, metrics, and work with marketing and digital strategy team to create reports that measure the effectiveness of ASIS search marketing, social media, paid advertising, web content, and email. Provide optimization recommendations. Work with marketing managers on website A/B testing and “landing page” campaigns. Work with graphic designers and editorial team to create and manage digital content creation, including infographics and video.
15% Provide strategic direction regarding client paid social media campaigns (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and collaborate with Communications Coordinator to leverage and grow these channels. Ensure design and tone consistency across all platforms, posts and promotions.
15% Stay current with Google algorithm changes, SEO best practices, and trends to maintain and/or improve search engine rankings. Oversee and optimize performance of client AdWords campaigns.
10% Provide communications support to executive office, including developing online presentations, videos, and web or social posts for senior staff and volunteer leaders.
5% Monitor emerging social platforms that could support and expand our digital presence.
