Digital Marketing Content Manager

Our F500 Financial Client develops and distributes investment products to the retail marketplace.

We are looking to hire a short-term contractor (Minimum 4 months, may extend longer) to support the development and execution of the digital content strategy of the Investments business. This position reports to the Director of Web Marketing and will primarily be focused on helping to produce and project manage content pages in our Content Management System.

Core Responsibilities:

This role will support the buildout and migration of the PI website(s) and web ecosystem, moving content from one CMS to another. He/she will have experience with a CMS, and is able to identify and problem solve when web content does not display or behave as anticipated. For this project, experience with Vignette and IBM Web Content Manager are preferred. The candidate will demonstrate high proficiency in project management, and managing workflow and approvals. He/she will manage large quantities of information, content of all forms (text, graphics, video and audio) for the digital ecosystem, and adhere/support processes (Legal, Compliance and Marketing) for the site.

Content Builder:
• Serve as a content builder by taking content (text, video, graphic, audio and image) and loading the content into Web Content Manager (WCM).
• Review page builds for style and formatting and ensure the content is presented in the WCM templates optimally.
• Support Legal, Compliance and stakeholder review of content and content pages, and support handoff to other internal organizations – including Technology, Compliance, Creative Services, and our centralized Digital team.

Quality Controller:
• Support digital content loading and ensure content is web appropriate in tone, length and scope.
• Ensure appropriate links and capabilities are enabled.
• Load content into appropriate viewer solutions for different content assets.
• Support all copy and layout reviews and support of Legal and Compliance needs.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Communications, Marketing, or Computer Science degrees a plus
• Demonstrated project management skills; takes direction well and clearly possesses the ability to translate strategy into tactical deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project organizational skills; able to track status of each item relevant to project completion
• Needs to have experience in web design, content creation, content layout and html and CSS
• Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple projects at any given time
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and consistently produce a high quality web content
• Proficient in usage of a CMS (Vignette and IBM Web Content Manager), as well as Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
