Digital Marketing Consultant

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our top F500 financial services client has an opportunity for a Digital Marketer to support the continued expansion of our digital advertising initiatives. This position will support the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns, with an emphasis on paid search while also supporting display and other emerging digital advertising techniques. This person will help support their Consumer Credit business (Personal Lines & Loans, Auto Loans, Student Loans, etc.) and will collaborate with internal partners and external agencies to plan and execute digital campaigns.

Activities include:
- Development and execution of SEM (paid search) campaign(s) in partnership with lines of business, including:
o Day to day campaign management and optimization in conjunction with our agency partners and line of business contacts
o Forecasting and analysis
o Monthly campaign performance presentations
o Ongoing test & learn and optimization
o Implementation of Remarketing List Search Advertising program (RLSA)
- Ongoing display, mobile, programmatic and other campaign execution and optimization
- Creative development & optimization including ad copy and landing page creative
- Work to develop plans and processes to pilot and implement new digital marketing capabilities
- Work with the team to define campaign scope, objectives, test design and primary and secondary metrics
- Manage digital advertising agencies to scope, plan, report and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Partner with digital agency and analytics teams to deliver campaign reporting and analyses; provide analysis against KPIs and identify areas for improvement and future testing
- Partner closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure campaigns meet requirements; create documentation for Legal and Compliance reviews

A Successful Applicant Will Possess:
- Significant experience in planning, executing and optimizing paid search / SEM campaigns
- Broad understanding of Digital advertising, including programmatic display, video, mobile, paid social and new digital marketing tactics such as list targeting / CRM targeting
- Experience executing creative and media requirements for digital 3rd-party advertising campaigns
- Experience executing paid digital marketing programs at scale in a large, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence management and peers across functional lines
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent, pervasive attention to detail

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of Digital marketing experience with at least 4 years of digital 3rd party advertising experience
- Experience working with paid search and display / mobile / social media
- Experience reporting digital advertising campaign results with analysis of insights and opportunities for improvement
- Experience with tagging and tracking in order to measure and analyze campaign performance
- Client and/or agency side experience with large, complex digital advertising campaigns

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience managing digital marketing campaigns for a large, high-volume advertiser
- Experience working in an Integrated Marketing Communications environment within the Financial Services Sector
- Experience working and collaborating within a matrixed organization which includes a wide variety of cross-functional partners across an organization to drive results
