Our large financial service client located in Manhattan is seeking a Digital Marketing Consultant for a 6+ month contract position. This is fulltime and onsite.
The client's Marketing Team seeks a talented Marketing Automation Specialist to join their team to support and enhance marketing automation efforts. As the DM Consultant you will be primarily responsible for establishing and increasing engagement with customers and prospects through regular marketing newsletters and sales event promotion. You will be working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to support the development of customer journeys as well as delivering digital campaigns and subscriptions. In order to support these efforts you will be segmenting the recipients of the outbound campaigns and analyzing the activity against these targeted audiences.
The ideal candidate has a strong focus on establishing strategic goals and demonstrating progress towards those goals through analytics and reporting dashboards. The role involves significant collaboration within the sales and marketing teams thus the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage multiple concurrent priorities. As a result of the coordination required, the role has great visibility and exposure to multiple areas of the business.
Digital Marketing Analytics Reporting
" Develop and maintain weekly email and web activity performance reports and dashboards
" Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance to optimize content and audiences for increased engagement
" Help to identify and develop key success metrics for the marketing automation program
" Provide data cleanup and reconciliation and work with Sales team to update customer activity data in Salesforce.com for reporting
Marketing Email Production
" Building drafts and sending proofs to stakeholders and compliance for approvals
" Managing sending segments & suppression lists
" Coordination of email sends with website publishing schedule
" Management and maintenance of utm tags to support activity reporting
Development and Execution of Subscription and Engagement campaigns
" Support for registration and subscription landing pages & forms
" Triggering campaign responses in CRM for tagging and subscription management
" Automating email templates for event and webcast registrations
Required Skills and Experience:
" 3-5 years hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform (Pardot is preferred)
" 3-5 years CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus)
" Proficient in basic HTML to perform email and landing page format modifications across multiple browsers and platforms
" Highly proficient in use and understanding of data analytics and reporting
" Basic SQL Experience is a must for list management and reporting
" Experience with B2B interactive marketing techniques including: SEO, Lead scoring, Segmentation and Customer Journeys
