Digital Marketing Associate

One of our valued Fortune 500 financial service and credit card clients in NYC is in need of a talented and eager freelance/contractor to join their team in this new position as Digital Customer Marketing Associate. This is for a 6 month contract which can be extended. This also has the ability to work remote 3-4 days (of the 5).

This team runs and optimizes programs through existing digital channels (online, email, mobile) and leads innovation to identify new digital channels, platforms and capabilities to leverage in the future. This role will be focused in three main areas:
• Creating new offers for existing Card Members to maintain loyalty and engagement with OPEN
• Enhancing digital experiences and applications to create a more seamless customer journey
• Ensuring that online customer-facing links are working properly via testing and reporting

Responsibilities:
• Partner with internal groups and external agencies to develop and implement marketing offers that will be shown to credit card customers to deepen their relationships through hyper relevant marketing messages, e.g. targeted messages and internal banners on the website for products the client is promoting.
• Liaison with Technologies groups, advertising agencies, and other business partners to re-design and test enhanced versions of the card member experiences.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to ensure that all marketing offers are compliant with the latest regulations and verbiage
• Regularly checking existing offers and links to ensure that they are performing at or above goal. This will include the analysis of multiple spreadsheets and interaction with online data tracking systems

Required Qualifications:
• Very focused on the customer – excited and passionate about creating great experiences
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years marketing experience (financial services experience is a plus)
• Strong project management and relationship management skills
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and identify opportunities from large quantities of complex data
• Detail oriented – experience ensuring flawless execution in an environment with significant amounts of complex information
• Digital expertise preferred – experience with email and/or online channels and capabilities (e.g. A/B Tests, Omniture, Google Analytics, Sales Force, etc.)
