Digital Marketing Assistant Manager

A global beauty/haircare company is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to cover a 5-6 month maternity leave. This will be a contract position, 35-40 hours a week on-site at the company's headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities
- Brand Website
o New product page updates: Work with brand marketing team (copy/image assets), SEM agency (meta data) and ad agency to coordinate updates
o Monthly maintenance updates: Work with brand marketing team to identify updates (new pages to support product launches, homepage modules, site banners, expired images, copy
edits, discontinued products) and ad agency to coordinate updates
- Digital media campaigns (Styling, Haircolor, Haircare campaigns)
o Work with brand marketing team, media agency and trade websites to execute digital media campaigns and digital contests.
o Coordinate the development of creative assets and traffic the assets to media agency and trade sites for monthly campaigns.
- Mobile Site
o Monthly maintenance updates: Work with brand marketing team to identify updates (Homepage modules, copy edits, discontinued products) and mobile agency to coordinate updates
- L’Oeal Professionnel Salon Locator
o Maintenance of salon locator data - Add / Edit / Remove salon data from admin tool upon request from salons
- SEM
o Communicate product launches and budget direction to SEM agency to ensure campaigns are developed against launch priorities.
- Reporting
o Google Analytics – Provide monthly website reporting data to L’Oreal corporate marketing, PPD team and Global DMI team.

Level of experience / Must haves
o 3- 5 years digital marketing or digital agency experience
o Execution of website / mobile site maintenance updates, digital media campaigns
o For ‘Brand’ candidates: Experience working with an advertising agency – providing direction to agency, reviewing cost estimates, providing feedback
o Working with internal or agency creative team to develop creative for websites, mobile sites and digital media campaigns
o Ability to pull reporting metrics from Google Analytics
o Social media experience not necessary
