Digital Marketing Analyst

Our client has a newly created opportunity for an experienced commercially astute Digital Marketing Analyst to develop and implement a digital marketing framework across digital marketing activities, website, self-service environment, social platforms, sales channels and competitive environments. Our client's people are driven by their desire to have a positive impact on their customers and their digital capability is a critical component. In this role, you will work alongside peers in the marketing, contact centre, customer experience, and data, analytics and insight to optimise marketing investment.

Key Deliverables:
Digital marketing campaign dashboard covering multiple channels and their respective return on investment.
o Paid & earned (SEM, SEO, Display, Social, affiliates and etc)
o Owned (website and in collaboration with digital delivery team and retention team, online management services)
 Attribution, tagging and tracking of digital campaigns from prospects to financial joins to assist the digital marketing team optimise marketing spend and to assist performance review with agency partners.
 Working with digital marketing team to design multi-variants testing to enhance marketing campaigns.
 Deep dive to understand the causes and drivers for performance variation.

Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement a digital marketing analysis framework across the companies digital marketing activities, website, self-service environment, social platforms, sales channels and competitive environments.
 In collaboration with agency partners and internal stakeholders such as digital delivery team, develop and automate a digital marketing campaign dashboard to support digital marketing team to design and improve digital campaigns.
 Working collaboratively across marketing teams to provide regular performance insights for digital marketing team and the agency partners.
Tagging & tracking implementation for all digital marketing, campaign activity and deployment of new digital capabilities
 Develop and implement attribution of digital activities across sales channels to optimise marketing investment.
Using available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall)
performance issues and propose methodical optimisation tests, both on-site and
campaign based
 Lead in-depth analysis to identify and recommend actionable insights to lift digital
marketing campaign performance. Where appropriate, in conjunction with analytics
and digital delivery team.

Essential Skills / Experience:

Bachelors or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, communication, or a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics)
 Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with Web Analytics or Digital Marketing Campaign Management
 Familiar with Google Analytics Premium
 Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
 Analytical skills and complex problem solving abilities and experience performing complex data analysis
 Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives (project management skills)
 Ability to use analytic skills to provide insight as well as recommendations for changes and ability to convince key decision makers of business benefit of proposed solutions
 Ability to draw insight from complex data and present succinct insights to non-technical audiences
 Strong understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape and practices including SEM, SEO, Display, Social Media and Email marketing and its role within the broader marketing and media strategy
 Self-starter attitude with a delivery focus
 Strong relationship skills with the ability to engage across a variety of stakeholders
 Experience in working in an agile environment highly regarded
