Leading Australian Health and Lifestyle Brand is looking to appoint a digital marketing / eBusiness specialist to drive their flagship product forward online and beyond.

This newly created position presents a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded online acquisition and retention specialist with a multichannel marketing background to lead the evolution of this brand. Working within the online marketing team, along side creative and brand you’ll take the reins and responsibility for the products online efforts in their entirety; from auditing their current channels to determine their effectiveness in terms of revenue generation to evolving the current member and subscriber databases to promote further engagement and community interaction. You’ll be in a position to determine what works and what doesn’t, present business cases for new initiatives and see these through to completion – it could be mobile orientated,, maybe its online web chat, who knows as that’s up to you!

At the very heart of this role is revenue generation, because at the end of the day the expectation from you is to develop and deliver online campaigns, initiatives, and products that will not only sell the product in the first instance, but create further cross sell, up sell, and repeat purchase opportunity so if you find yourself in an eCommerce position currently and you’re looking to take the next step forward in your learning and application then this one’s for you.

To put yourself in contention, your work experience to date must be at least 5 years in digital marketing, working across transactional websites where commercial success is at the heart of every strategic decision. You’ll be an experienced project manager well familiar with content platforms having already worked with teams previously on site builds, you’ll have worked with either existing members or subscribers so you’ll have a sound knowledge of how to interact and communicate regularly with a community all the while considering repeat business opportunity. Plus mobile will be a string to your bow, as will SEM and PPC, affiliate, social media, content, data and of course analytics – it’s the justification of course for what you do online!

This really is both a challenging and rewarding role, on the one hand you’ve the opportunity to take an already booming brand further forward online by way of new initiatives, and on the other you’ve the challenge to work with an existing membership community evolving their interactions with the call centre in a more digital and social way.
