Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious marketer with proven skills and experience in digital branding, acquisition and media experience, able to manage digital growth programs. You will be responsible for high-level planning and direction of the digital and multimedia marketing strategy, as well as execution of the strategic plans via websites, blog content, e-marketing and social media. Being an outdoors enthusiast is highly desirable.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Ultimately, the job of the Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist is to think like both a direct marketer and publisher, leading the development of content initiatives that do more than “entertain.” You have to influence, activate, engage and optimize.

You will direct vendors and drive more amplification for our Clients’ digital content, and ensure it maps back to business metrics, not just “PR fluff.” You’ll bring our work to life in multiple assets, working against a strategic communications framework. You are an imaginative, experienced self-starter who is eager to strategically oversee and execute ideas that drive business. Leveraging performance media, display, social media, multimedia and strategic partnerships (affiliate marketing) will be key to expanded success in this role.



Essential Functions:
• Lead and collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute integrated and digital marketing strategy and initiatives to drive sales leads at an effective return on investment
• Direct, track and manage online marketing programs and online content including:
o Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
o Search Engine Marketing (paid search ads/PPC)
o Video SEO/Optimization
o Display advertising
o Social media marketing, including but not limited to content calendars
• Continuous analysis and optimization of SEO/SEM efforts and results, deriving actionable insights and programs to increase rank, drive traffic, and ultimately increase customer acquisition
• Work with our PR and content teams to develop compelling content for social, video and other digital media platforms
• Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing that can open more opportunity

Required Skills:
Requires a combination marketing and digital mindset, with the most important aspect being to think “client first.” Specific skills required include:
• Significant skills and experience in Internet marketing and advertising technology; we are in a competitive industry, so you’ll need to be on the cutting edge in terms of your knowledge and capability
• Proven management experience leading and inspiring teams of designers/developers and content creators
• Fastidious and effective project management skills to set and meet deadlines
• Ability to map a digital strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy is a must
• Experience working with brand guidelines and consistent messaging across multiple channels
• Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness and conversion rates. Gather data and handle analytics (or supervise those who do), and make recommendations based on those results
• Expertise in all major business software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
