Digital Marketing - Technology Implementation Manager

Large global banking client seeks a Digital Marketing Technology Implementation Manager to guide the development and implementation of large-scale digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have be technology focused and have a strong understanding of database marketing and digital campaigns. He/she will work closely with IT partners to strategize and execute implementation of the programs, including developing a benchmarks and playbook for upcoming initiatives.

*This is more of a technology & implementation focused, than creative focused role.

In a nutshell, this role is in large part about evaluating new technologies for marketing campaigns, integrating them, and developing a playbook on how to deploy them! A core role will be to to put together a strategy to use the technology and build a business case.

This role involves working with cross-functional teams on cutting edge programs. Looking for candidates who have strong strategic skills, but also have a passion for hands on execution of these programs as well.

This digital group is responsible for:
• Developing a roadmap to outline the evolution of Citi’s digital marketing and advertising capabilities and integration of campaign management processes
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to identify and research new capabilities
• Managing development and implementation in concert with Cards’ digital objectives
• Providing strategic project management across functional groups
• Identifying and cultivating new partner (e.g. publisher, technology, etc.) opportunities to augment our strategic digital priorities

Required Marketing Skills:
• 5+ years experience in digital marketing (deployment, campaign tracking technologies, database marketing basics, digital data management, microsite/website management)
• Experience liasing between marketing and technology teams
• Aptitude for both strategic and hands-on implementation of marketing programs
• Experience in database marketing programs

Required Soft Skills:
• Proactive and driven work style (asks questions, follows up, seeks solutions)
• Great communications and relationship building skills (will need to work cohesively with cross functional departments: technology, legal, compliance, analytics, etc.)
