Digital Marketing - Implementation Manager / QA

Major consumer banking/credit card company seeks Marketing Associate (Implementation Manager) to support the creative team within Marketing Delivery Management within Consumer Cards line of business. This is a 12-18 month role, FT, Mon-Fri in Long Island City, NY.

This is a tactical-focused role, handling coordination, QA, etc. mid-campaign, after strategy has been set and creative has been developed. Seeking someone with a high level of attention to detail, with a focus on tactical implementation and coordination.

Marketing Associate serves as a single point of contact for all Direct Mail and Email marketing communications programs and is responsible for executing and routing changes and requirements to various internal and external agency partners, driving implementation and ensuring all programs meet legal and regulatory requirements.

OVERVIEW:
This is a hands on tactical role with heavy Excel (although advanced Excel skills not needed), working with multiple spreadsheets simultaneously and heavy QA and proofreading. The project is picked up mid-campaign, after strategy has been set, communication written and design created. This person is responsible for working with internal as well as external partners and outside agencies, to ensure feedback is implemented, then re-routed and final campaigns are delivered accurately and on time. They are keeping track of multiple campaigns simultaneously, at different stages of development, all with tight deadlines so fanatical attention to detail is a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Routing and execution of marketing programs across multiple channels (direct mail, email, account on line) and various cards products
• Manage multiple programs simultaneously with overlapping deliverables and tight deadlines
• Ensure communication matches marketing strategy and that feedback is captured and implemented
• Secure approvals through hand-off of final creative documents to channel deployment teams
• Audit all communications for quality control before final deployment
• Work with Excel spreadsheets and internal technology tool to manage execution and approval process
• Provide status updates, issues for discussion, and recommendations for improvement opportunities

TASK BREAKDOWN:
• 40% - Managing hi-volume campaign components for internal/external routing utilizing Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• 30% - Proofreading communications to meet branding requirements and quality standards
• 20% - Working with various internal/external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met
• 10% - Misc/Administrative (uploading documents to internal workflow management system)

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Fanatical attention to detail is a must!
• Heavy use of Excel (although not advanced) and Adobe Acrobat
• Moderate use of Word and PowerPoint
• Manage multiple projects with changing priorities, overlapping deliverables and tight deadlines
• Quickly learn and adapt to automated workflow systems
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Effective team player with strong interpersonal communications skills to build relationships and create support across a wide range of stakeholders
