Digital Market Analyst

Working with the Senior Channel Manager, the eCommerce Market Analyst is responsible for the execution of the digital strategy for the assigned e-Retailer by ensuring an on brand digital experience that aligns with our client's strategies and programs across the omni-channel to drive e-commerce revenue and differentiated consumer experiences.

This person will oversee the product portfolio for the assigned e-Retailer, aligning, prioritizing and articulating the short to mid-term digital product strategy with the e-Retailer’s strategies to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales. Additional responsibilities may include growing sku base, optimizing product pages, cross merchandising assortment, inventory planning, sales and Omniture reporting.

This person will have an in-depth knowledge of the e-Retailer’s digital customer experience initiatives, understand evolving consumer behavior and possess strong reporting capabilities. S/he must also be able to work cross functionally with both the e-Retailer’s digital team, core merchants, customer experience, IT as well as our client's equivalent teams.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implement and help refine digital product strategy and roadmap by working with cross functional teams to determine alignment with corporate strategy, functional plans, revenue objectives, and user needs.
2. Serve as a brand advocate while balancing practical business goals and constraints.
3. Articulate and prioritize strategies for product (for example, new product launches, product page optimization, content syndication).
4. Maintain expert knowledge of the product, using an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for testing and product enhancements.
5. Provide weekly and quarterly reporting which details sales and omniture metrics, ensuring business is tracking to plan.
6. Prepare annual and long-term demand forecasts and make recommendations accordingly.
7. Participate and assist the managers in planning, developing, and implementing trade shows, conventions, and meetings.




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. 1 to 3 years of marketing experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results is required.

Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker. Must possess substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.

TRAVEL
Travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits as needed, approximately 20-35%.
