Digital Librarian (Assets Management: Photo/Marketing/Widgets/User Experiences)

Our client's Integrated Marketing drives demand and builds brand through mass advertising as well as providing creative services for retail teams, including category photography, videos, marketing assets, widgets and user experiences. They deliver measurably effective integrated-marketing programs, demand, category and brand campaigns, in support of company and category objectives.

They're looking for a 2-5 year experienced highly-motivated digital librarian to oversee all aspects of managing our digital asset library. Experience at Getty Images or a major stock photography company is a major plus. The digital librarian will be responsible for organization, accessibility and preservation of the digital asset library, allowing the business to find and access assets in a simple and efficient manner. You will develop methods for managing content and metadata that are rigorous and scalable. You will work closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements and will plan and coordinate technical work and special projects. As digital librarian you will also train library users, vet system bugs and configure system preferences.

REQUIRED
• Experience with metadata
• Rights management experience
• Experience with cataloguing and building taxonomies
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders (Creative, Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Site Merchandising, PR and Sales)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED
• Experience working in a global creative operations environment
• Knowledge of the APAC market a plus

The team the digital librarian will be joining works on existing digital asset management system used for video, photo, and other assets that are used by design teams that work on advertising; the DAM is used to send assets between outside suppliers and workers. The materials stored in DAM includes highly confidential and proprietary work.

A typical day will include: a lot of communication with video and photography teams and the other agencies; sifting through the assets to make sure that they are tagged with appropriate licensing agreements, filtered correctly;
normal biz hours but tend to be on the early side - 7 or 8am start time bc you will work with a team in London -could take those early AM calls from home.
