Digital Graphic Designer

One of our Fortune 500 clients and world’s premiere management consulting is looking for a Dynamic Graphic Designer in their Midtown NY office. Their newly created Digital Labs department combines unparalleled business knowledge with a world-class development process to offer distinctive support for enterprise IT enablement. Strong Collaboration with other team members and external agencies is expected.
Successful candidates will be able to bring a Design Sensibility and Clean, Crisp and Functional Design aesthetic. The Digital Designer works with both the Design team while also collaborating with the Publishing team to create and maintain outstanding digital communications and products for web, rich media and social media. This is a hands-on role, responsibilities include: developing design solutions from high-level ideas to detailed graphical layouts and user interfaces to support the firm’s ongoing digital publishing programs.
The individual will work with editors to create and communicate graphics, web pages and presentations. Working with internal clients and external vendors/freelancers you will develop high-impact visual solutions that are on brand. Ensuring that all marketing collateral and publications are best in class for readers/users is essential.

Responsibilities
■ Work with content owners to source, create and develop digital communications that match the high standards of the Editorial content and are engaging for our internal clients and end users alike
■ Provide hands-on execution across a diverse range of design and communication challenges including user interfaces for the corporate web site.
■ Create engaging digital experiences while upholding the highest standards of usability across digital channels
■ Communicate effectively with stakeholders from across the organization to bring technical expertise to projects, answer questions and troubleshoot problems
■ Support colleagues in production/developer roles with design documentation, graphical assets and appropriate guidance
■ Respond to design briefs with excellent digital communications that are on brand

Required Skills and Experience
■ Strong design sense, layout and usability. (CLEAN, CRISP, FUNCTIONAL, CORP LAYOUT.)
■ High level of comfort designing for large, global brands and deep experience working within a defined brand system
■ Detailed understanding of digital communications and experience working with developers to implement designs
■ Able to take ownership of, prioritize, and manage multiple work streams with minimal supervision
■ Able to specify and initiate change to improve processes and products
■ Strong written and oral communication skills
■ Highly efficient, organized, meticulous attention to detail
■ Formal Graphic Design qualification


Required Technical Expertise
■ Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
■ Comfort with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
■ Basic knowledge of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets
