Digital Graphic Designer

This position is for a graphic designer who has experience with web design- Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS a MUST.

Position Summary:

eMarketing Specialist, reporting to the Manager, eMarketing, will be self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. S/he should have experience hand coding HTML for the creation of web pages through a content management system. S/he must have basic writing capabilities, copy editing experience and familiarity with AP style a plus. This individual will build websites using web best practices for a variety of audiences and clients. Attention to detail and working with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in developing effective design strategy that can solve the business need of the assignment
• Design and build website marketing landing pages which may include copywriting and copy editing
• Works with team to identify and improve website landing pages that do not meet performance expectations (e.g., high abandonment/exit, desired call to action not taken)
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines, such as landing pages and minisites.
• Maintain extremely high design and production standards, as well as the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Prior web writing experience a plus
• Intermediate HTML and CSS experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• Must have experience in web or user interface design; should be able to demonstrate common principles of web usability
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in fast-paced, multi-campaign environments
• Able to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines


Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Intermediate HTML and CSS experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• Knows and champions web best practices
