Digital Fundraising Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Fundraising, the role of Digital Fundraising Coordinator is to provide
digital campaign execution support to the National Direct Marketing program. This role centers on
coordination of digital campaign asset set-up, execution and reporting; a specific emphasis is placed on
email, paid search, digital display, web and social media.

Key Accountabilities:
In collaboration with Direct Marketing team and external agencies, coordinates approvals and asset
delivery, builds tracking and completes extensive testing of digital fundraising campaign assets
including:
o Email
o Paid media (search, display and video)
o Online donation forms and email sign up forms
o Landing pages
o Social media
o Offline channel integration
o Others as requested
Responsible for coordination the following campaign activities:
o Asset development scheduling
o Content and asset approval process
o Coordination of translation services
o Asset analytics tracking setup and execution
o Campaign performance reporting
o Campaign invoice tracking

Campaign Development and Execution (60%)
Gathers campaign workback schedules from various external agencies and consolidates into one
top-level key milestones timeline for each campaign
Following the asset approval plan from the Manager, gathers and organizes stakeholder feedback
on campaign assets for all rounds of internal review, and implements feedback with our vendors.
Verifies that all changes have been implemented as instructed
Proof reads copy to ensure there are no spelling or grammatical errors, and verifies that character
limitations for digital assets have been met
Creates and delivers static and dynamic campaign tracking codes for digital campaign components,
and tests and confirms proper campaign and channel tracking setup
Completes extensive, detailed testing of all campaign assets during the implementation stage of a
campaign
Maintains an organized filing system of all campaign documentation, art and copy, through the
campaign execution and reporting stages
Campaign Monitoring and Reporting (35%)
Pulls data from various reporting tools including Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Email
deployment platforms and charity fundraising software, and builds out scheduled dashboards and
status reports for the Manager, Digital Fundraising
Job Description
Enters final campaign results data and creative asset screen captures into the Campaign Wrap Up
document
Gathers post-mortem feedback from various stakeholders for the campaign post-mortem feedback
Ongoing Duties (10%)
Enters vendor invoices into the Invoice Tracking Sheet before handing them off to the Manager for
processing
Processes weekly reports for our donor Aeroplan Miles crediting and manages the Aeroplan day-today
relationship
Pulls reports from the various systems upon request of the Manager
Develops and maintains documentation on digital fundraising and direct marketing processes
Supports the Monthly, Intermediate and House donor programs with their digital campaign
execution, as required
Maintains an organized filing system of creative templates, process documentation and production
templates
Ensures that donation forms and assets go live and are retired according to schedule

Accountable for delivering on project expectations of digital direct marketing campaigns,
with a key focus on quality and on-time execution

Other Requirements:
2-3 years relevant experience in digital marketing
Highly proficient at setting up complex campaign channel tracking
Proficient working knowledge of reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager,
Email reports, and Microsoft Excel
Practical working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel in a PC environment
Experience with enterprise-level email deployment platforms such as Exact Target or Luminate
Online, including the use of logic for dynamic, personalized content
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Extremely detail oriented and skilled in accuracy
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to identify key priorities
Experience working in a fast-paced environment involving multi-tasking and critical deadlines
Experience in paid media execution is an asset
Demonstrated experience in marketing is an asset
Ability to read the French language is an asset
