Digital Experience Manager

My client is an award winning and one of the largest architectural practices in Australia with studios located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and New York, with project offices in Canberra and Bangkok. Their portfolio includes airports, commercial, defence, education, health, science, hospitality, interiors, masterplanning, public buildings, residential, retail, sport, transport, urban design and workplace projects. The firm has been extremely successful since the early 2000s designing many landmark buildings in Australia and sport facilities for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2012 London Olympic Games. Their commitment to design, diversity and innovation permeates all aspects of its architecture studio. The studio is a collective of design professionals, technologists and administrators who work holistically and collaboratively in teams to achieve best practice in architecture and design.

In this newly created role which is very much a key part of the future strategy, the Digital Experience Manager will be responsible for the curation and management of the firm's online and digital presence. This involves the development of the studio's digital and online capability to align with the studio's overall communications strategy and aspiration for greater public engagement.

Ideally you will have a journalistic background and be a social media native with a well developed ability to use social channels for researching and broadcasting stories. The Digital Experience Manager will also ideally have digital production skills including but not limited to CMS, Video editing, Audio editing, Photoshop and the ability to do online story layouts. You will work in a collaborative environment within a broader communication team that includes a Media Relations Manager and will be supported by a graphic designer, multi media designer and software developer. This role will report to the CEO and the Communications and Design Culture Director.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

- Collaboratively develop a digital content strategy and roadmap for the online environment
- Lead the development of new digital publishing products
- Develop a social media strategy for the organisation that is designed on the basis of competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with targeted audiences
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules in collaboration with the Communications Director.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Coordinate diverse groups within the organisation as well as required designers, writers, printers and film makers
- Collaborate with Print Media Manager and Graphics team to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
