The Digital Events/MPR Coordinator will work with the Canadian events team to support the digital engagement innovation. Working with the Marcomm and social managers to increase demand generation of virtual events will be a key success. Working closely with the in-person events team to ensure all events are using the microsite technology and working closely with vendors to develop webcast, virtual meetings and virtual conferences. The coordinator will work with event owners and the digital event vendors to address any questions regarding their event. The coordinator will be the digital events expert for all Canadian inquires and requests. The MPR requires booking, coordinating and management of external and internal MPR events for the Canadian subsidiary. This position manages the calendar bookings for all events in the MPR rooms. Responsibilities include coordinating onsite event logistics, working with onsite catering, AV, facilities, and security suppliers as required for each event. The coordinator is also responsible for facilitating and reporting on all billing and financials associated with incoming MPR revenue.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Lead the digital event engagements in Canada
o Act as the lead for inquiries regarding digital event bookings from both the digital event vendors and the event owners
- Collaborate with the Digital and Marcomm teams to ensure social success. Work closely with the in-person events team to develop and manage micros-sites for all Canadian events to ensure a consistent experience.
- Drive consistency and policy surrounding new technologies, driving innovation – evangelizing these opportunities through training the key stakeholders
- Manage digital spend across the subsidiary and reporting metrics to ensure success metrics are met
- Manage the booking and coordination of all MPR events both internal and external for the CDN Subsidiary
- Point of contact for all internal and external inquiries related to MPR bookings
- Management and maintenance of the MPR calendar hosted on an internal SharePoint site
- Ensure the site is updated with all relevant MPR bookings, cancellations and relevant information as it pertains to MPR processes and procedures
- Ensure bookings are consistent with the space available to avoid scheduling conflicts and or capacity regulations
- Manage the billing of each MPR booking with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and organized billing files for both internal and external clients
- Provide monthly reporting of financial reconciliation to both the Senior Events Manager and Finance teams
- Ensure that catering and AV orders are accurate and execute flawlessly for each MPR event
- Facilitate weekly meetings with onsite suppliers (AV/Facilities/Catering/Security) to discuss upcoming events
- Ensure proper procedures are followed at all times to ensure alignment company regulations
- Communicate any changes to current policies to Senior Events Manager
- Manage/ coordinate the requests for the generic marketing/event items available and ensure items are returned

Position Requirements:

- Marketing and digital properties experience
- 1-3 years working with social or digital properties
- Candidates should only have 1-3 years of experience, have knowledge of Office products, be very organized, adaptive to learning technology, self-starter that enjoys events.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in event marketing
- Some conflict resolution skills.
- Some experience in a corporate environment or working on corporate events
- Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
- Self-motivated, goal oriented person; ability to build strong, lasting business relationships.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident personality with the ability to take initiative
- Possess a professional approach to event management
