Digital Director

My client, a full service global media agency are looking for a Digital Director to work across 2 of their key clients.

Responsibilities;
Ensures and overseas workflow and resource allocation in the group.
Responsible for the training and development of all managers, executives and assistants in the group.
Oversees all case studies on all clients and motivates the team to deliver work that can be submitted for external awards.
Helps develop a team culture of delivering real world results (too much time we focus on media metrics such as impressions and clicks) through looking at correlations between client sales results and media delivery.
Oversees the client relationships with the brand and media teams, ensuring that client servicing is first class and ensures delivery and contribution of client TRR scores.
Accurate forecasting and visibility of client expenditure across digital channels to contribute to value control, discount and contract management.
Leads digital campaign assessment methodology, developing a market leading approach that is used across the whole agency especially when it comes to performance advertising.
Build the strongest and deepest media owner relationships – not just with sales teams but across all departments to get access to the best ideas, to enable my client to transfer strong ideas from one medium to another
Support/lead the IPI on any new business responsibilities.
Contribution to trade press in communicating my client's point of view.
Works with the Head of the department on all major supplier contract negotiations.

Requirements;
First class implementation skills with the ability to translate a strategy/communication plan into a media plan.
Previous experience on digital savvy clients who use digital advertising for branding purposes rather than direct response.
Good understanding of all media channels and with knowledge of strengths and weaknesses.
Highly numerate with first class negotiation skills.
Proactive leader.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Proven track record of testing new types of digital advertising and measuring impact of these tests
Specific understanding of best practice and use of online video and mobile advertising
Excellent presentation skills.
Demonstrates selling skills with the ability to sell in media plans/initiatives to clients.
Strong relationships with all senior media vendors.
Results driven with responsibility for all delivery of all clients results from a planning and buying point of view.
Passionate about innovation and delivering cutting edge digital campaigns.
Motivated and best in class Implementation planner who is a perfectionist that leads from the front producing excellent work with great attention to detail.
Energetic and creative optimist who is always looking to do and try things differently.
Collaborative team player that supports and leads their team and its success.
