Digital Director

Oversee a digital team consisting of digital strategists, project managers, and creative technologists as well as IT systems manager
Develop and implement a strategic vision and growth plan for the digital department
Provide creative, strategic and technical expertise to develop and implement digital campaigns for the experiential needs of our clients
Oversee the execution of digital projects by facilitating the development of websites, mobile applications and new product development leveraging emerging technology
Evolve the current digital department framework to maximize efficiencies and increase its impact with prospective clients
Provide a strategic vision for new business proposals and participate in pitch presentations to represent the agency’s digital capabilities when needed
Lead the agency on emerging digital trends and the latest event technologies
Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth through digital capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

Self-starter with drive and an entrepreneurial mindset
Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in the digital space, familiarity within an agency setting preferred
Experience managing a digital team
In-depth knowledge of digital disciplines and how they apply to live experiences, including but not limited to: audience engagement tactics and platforms; leveraging emerging onsite technology, UX design and strategy; digital website development and analytics
Ability to be a hands-on team player adding value, creating strategies, programs and instructional guidance to all levels and teams
Strong leadership, communication skills and project management skills
Ability to mobilize, supervise and motivate teams
Ability to offer support in scoping and estimating digital projects
Provide solutions for technical training to teams when necessary
This position is located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Relocation is not provided.
