Ideally, we want an individual with a diverse portfolio of work that demonstrates a skillful application of concepts and strategy into a thoughtful execution that tells a story...not just being able to build something from a production standpoint or having a running list of clients (these are expected).
The designer needs to be able to speak to their work and have examples of work that show the problem they solved and the solution (being the design).
FIT: Humble, eager, collaborative, full service, team player and comfortable being uncomfortable. Able to hit ground running! Don't be afraid of critique.
Would like someone who can design and produce their work (print and digital). There is a corporate style guide in place. Deliverables are 75% digital and 25% print (1 sheets, invitations, collateral, event materials) and can be for publications and events.
Ideal candidate has:
- a portfolio that exhibits a breadth of work (digital, print, web, presentation, motion, illustration)
- ability to speak to their work and the problem/solution that the work is helping to solve
Portfolio examples should include: digital print, web, presentations, illustrations and motion graphics.
3-6 years of experience
Someone from iconic brands desired.
