Position Overview
Looking for a Digital Designer to work with the Associate Art Director in supporting the creative strategy, concept, design and production of the clients website. The ideal candidate is capable of championing refinement, innovation and elevation during growth. Passion for design, photography, type and motion as they come together to create user experiences. Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills required to partner with both creative and cross functional partners on strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:
-Concept and design for sites editorial stories and Maintain and update overall site design.
-Concept and execute shooting and editing digital photos and videos as needed. Collaborate with fashion and editorial offices to concept and maintain site calendar and publish schedule as well as leading and supporting day to day site business as needed.
-Ability to partner and guide a variety of vendors to build the business and brand.
-Assist in managing design team and interns in daily workload while ensuring output is brand appropriate, completed on time for both internal and external reviews and completed to the highest standards.
-Assist in recommending process improvements and help document for the team.
-Translate business, marketing, fashion and editorial objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to use, emotionally engaging and further the overall brand message.
-Contribute to the evolution of the site design, customer experience and brand projection by generating ideas to improve the web experience, functionality and business.

Qualifications:
-A strong sense of style with impeccable design fundamentals.
-Discerning, brand-sensitive eye for art direction, photo editing, cropping, and retouching.
-Ability to translate complex design challenges into elegant, intuitive experiences.
-Knowledge of best practices for the Web with a particular focus on fashion retail and editorial.
-Ability to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that combine branding and commerce; to execute these creative ideas from start to finish; and to manage multiple priorities and meet tight project deadlines
in a fast-paced environment.
-Resourceful self-starter who is collaborative, inclusive and flexible team member and partner.
-Must be detailed-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in deadline driven environment with strong communication and presentation skills.
-Minimum 3 years in a professional creative environment.
-Minimum 3 years Web design
-On set photography experience.
-Experience working for a major retail brand.
-CS5 + Keynote.
-After Effects and/or Javascript Html a plus.
-Strong retail/fashion brand experience a plus.
