Digital Designer

The designer will work alongside art directors, copywriters and other designers to create work that includes (but is not limited to) banners, rich media, website designs, and social media.

The designer is expected to take responsibility for the quality of the visual look and feel for the deliverable in which they have a hand, ensuring that it meets iCrossing standards for creative excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Assist with creation and design of digital advertising campaigns, Rich Media and website designs.
Manage the day to day creative updates and maintenance for multiple ongoing projects.
Assist with the delivery of final creative for digital ad campaigns.

Qualifications:
A passion for banners and the unique skill to create beautiful designs in small canvases
An excellent sense of motion and animation.
The ability to convey your ideas in detailed storyboards and communicate those ideas with animators and production artists.
Some knowledge and/or experience with Flash a plus.
The ability to juggle multiple projects.
Great attention to detail.
The ability to collaborate, to take constructive criticism, and to seek out and act on peer/client feedback
A strong desire to do brand-building, product-selling, and award-winning work.
A strong marketing sense and an interest in helping to develop campaign platforms that can work across channels.
Web experience and formal design training.
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with writers and production artist ensuring visual design communicate desired message.
A strong online portfolio with engaging and diverse designs.
Proficiency in Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
