Our client is a large bank in Wilmington, DE and they have asked for Aquent's help in identifying their next INTERACTIVE DESIGNER.

The INTERACTIVE DESIGNER will work in the bank's inhouse ad agency.

Period: long term contract engagement (after background check)

Hourly Pay Rate- $22.00

The Brand Strategy team is at the forefront of integrating our brands together. Brand Strategy plans and coordinates the development, delivery and communication financial products and services to ensure awareness, profitability and competitiveness. Brand Strategy develops marketing and advertising strategies and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions. The team’s also aligned as a partner with various lines of business to make sure that our brand personality, values and reputation are maintained through everything we do for Customers and Prospects.

Job Summary:
Looking for a talented Graphic Designer with both web & print backgrounds to join the team. The designer will work directly with brand and project managers, developing communications for several lines of business. The graphic designer should think digitally first and should have a passion for clean, simple, vibrant differentiated design to solve business problems and bring the brand to life.

Candidates need to have a skilled understanding of visual design and digital HTML/CSS development, be proficient in Adobe Flash and be able to develop and QA animated banners. The designer should also have good communication skills and be able to manage his/her own workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. And most importantly, the right candidate needs to be able to thrive in a dynamic culture driven by a desire to do some great work.

Essential Functions:
•Develop and code (if necessary) Customer- and Associate-facing digital creative including, among other things:
oLanding Pages
oHTML E-mails
oFlash Banners
•Develop Customer and Associate facing print creative including, among other things:
oLanding Pages
oDirect Mail
•Work closely with brand experts and strategists to coordinate and complete projects
•Become an expert of the brand and be able to review and QA creative developed by external agencies to ensure brand quality and consistency.

Experience & Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
•Experience in coding and QA’ing web pages
•Experience in utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response
•Work well under pressure; effectively handle tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
•Ability to multi-task, conceptualize, create and work directly with other Associates
•Strong creative problem-solving skills
•Ability to interpret and translate analytic thinking into creative concepts

Technical skills and abilities:
•Able to code e-mails and web pages utilizing HTML and CSS
•Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver & Flash) in a Windows environment
•Expert in Adobe Acrobat Professional
•Proficient in Microsoft Windows Business Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Working knowledge of html e-mail best practices
•Working knowledge web best practices and SEO
•Resourceful, innovative creative thinker.
•Team player.
•Must be willing to be hands-on and ready to roll up sleeves in order to get things done.
•Personality to work effectively with internal and external partners.
•Good communications skills.
•Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

The client is an easy commute from many sections of Philadelphia. There is also public transportation available.
