Digital Designer

Our top toy and game company client seeks a talented Graphic Designer to create persuasive, on-brand content for eCommerce websites, emails, and paid media campaigns. This will be a 6 month position with potential to extend longer, and offering W2 pay and a generous benefits package.

Our ideal candidate will capture and communicate the essence and story of our many brands across concepting, designing, and producing high-quality and impactful content through multiple digital and print mediums to ultimately drive higher engagement and sales. In addition, the designer must thrive in a highly creative, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment. 


Key Responsibilities: 
Create concepts for and design consumer-facing emails and assets for paid media: 
• Collaborate with team to create emails, Facebook/Instagram posts, display banners, and in-package inserts ( providing creative concepts, layout, treatments, etc.) 
• Work with developers to build as necessary 
• Look at results to help define future strategy 
• Monitor legal, licensor, and regulatory compliance 
• Create history and best practices 


Design content for eCommerce websites: 
• Create branded environments for site content, call to actions, hero images, etc. 
• Collaborate with technology and copy team to ensure consistency and production 
• Test designs to understand effectiveness 
• Look at results to help define future strategy 
• Monitor legal, licensor, and regulatory compliance 
• Create history and best practices 


Collaborate with teams and project management, which includes: 
• Initiate and attend team meetings, project kick offs, approval meetings, status meetings, and track project 

Previous graphic digital design experience is required. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and ability to code is strongly preferred but not required. Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office is necessary. The candidate must also possess strong verbal and interpersonal skills and be able to work productively on a cross-functional team. 

Education Requirements: 
Bachelors or higher degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar 

Experience: 
Solid understanding of digital design principles. 
Ideally possess 5+ years of relevant digital design work experience. 
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to internal teams. 
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well with a wide range of internal and external partners. 
Comprehend projects at a high level to anticipate and avoid potential roadblocks. 
Experience in effectively managing time and schedules, both with the team and individually 
Proven ability to work as a member of an integrated team and independently in an open office environment 
Exhibit expertise in storytelling 
Keep up to date with popular culture and trends 

Complexity: 
Performs professional level work. 
Develops solutions requiring collaboration with other teams. 
Responsible for art direction and design. 
Must possess ability to connect objectives to broader business objectives.
