Job Title: Digital Marketing Data and Reporting Analyst
Duties: We are looking for an experienced Data and Reporting analyst to work within the Digital Marketing Team to develop the data and reporting strategy to support digital marketing activity and email campaigns across the EMEA region.

Working with the Marketing Database Manager, this role is to develop the data strategy to support marketing activity and campaigns across EMEA region. There is also the requirement to work collaboratively with the CRM team to ensure best practice is employed across acquisition, storage and usage of all client data.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Analytics:

Work with our key partners in Channel Marketing to agree data and targeting requirements for digital marketing campaigns, and to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of targeted distribution lists
Provide insights into database trends across our key businesses and client segments
Manage ad hoc projects to automate and streamline data processes
Maintain the reliability and efficiency of all data feeds into and out of the Marketing database by working closely and managing the relationship with our key external data agency
Ensure global connectivity of Work with various business partners in technology and global analytics
Collaborate with CRM team on any Marketing projects which may impact on the platforms, and ensure resources are allocated and shared efficiently
Managing the data agency and other partner relationships to ensure data integrity and continuously evolving business requirements
It is imperative that this position has accountability for maintaining compliance obligations in the various European markets

Reporting:

Report to business on digital campaign metrics and provide recommendations & commentary for improvement/optimisation
Provide key top level reporting on channel and product performance, various levels of conversion and funnel tracking, and click stream analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns
Develop and manage methodology to evaluate digital marketing campaigns (email, banner and on-line)
Work with internal teams to understand business priorities, and create and configure tools and reports to meet and report on those needs with data analysis and recommendations
Create analytically driven, actionable insights based on client behaviors in combination with ancillary client interactions, qualitative and profile information
Undertake Ad Hoc analysis addressing specific issues arising from EMEA Marketing




Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
3+ years' experience in digital and database marketing analytics is imperative – preferably gained within a financial services organisation
Experience using Email Service Provider (ESP) tools such as Yesmail or Silverpop is highly desirable
Experience using data visualization tools, in particular Tableau
Experience using analytical and database tools such as Alterian, SQL & Microsoft Access to query and select data
Strong Excel skills with experience in Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.
Experience using web analytics programs such as Unica, Site Catalyst, or Google Analytics is highly desirable
Excellent quantitative skills, with a keen eye for teasing out insights from volumes of data
Exceptional problem solving abilities and experience synthesizing disparate and sometimes contradictory sets of data across multiple platforms within the firm
Ability to be objective in analysis and share research findings constructively (i.e. not spin findings to flatter an audience)
Capable of handling multiple mission-critical projects simultaneously without compromising quality or impacting deadlines
Ability to clearly and concisely present information to internal stakeholders in different parts of the organisation across all levels
Strong team player and ability to multi-task
Project management skills with experience of building and tracking project plans is highly desirable
An understanding of Pan European data privacy legislation and the implications of these on marketing activity is highly desirable
