Digital Creative Lead

One of Australia’s most iconic brands is currently seeking a Digital Creative Lead to join the evolving business.

This a newly created position that will play a pivotal senior leadership role in coaching the digital and graphic design and creative copywriting teams to produce best in class digital, creative concepts, content executions and technical solutions to support the business through its omni-channel journey. You will be instrumental in delivering world-class digital customer experiences with measurable results.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to provide strategic and creative direction in delivering digital creative campaigns tailored to paid and owned digital channels, social media platforms, mobile, digital screens, interactive digital tables, edm communications, video and store digital experiences

• Service internal clients with creative digital design solutions, graphic design, UI and UX design; animation guidance, application development; content creation; competitor analysis; digital campaign monitoring analytics and reporting.

• Be the custodian of the creative digital strategy that supports all business functional areas

• Provide the digital framework for the team

• Supervise and lead the Digital Design/Graphic Design/Creative Copy team, providing art direction and guidance to build their creative capabilities and ensure on-brand and high quality and customer-led creative communications across a variety of channels

• Work collaboratively with lead creative agency to progress integrated creative concepts in response to marketing communications briefs

• Create visual design and layouts for online marketing campaigns, eCommerce and mobile

• Be an advocate for best practice UX, UI and Digital Design
Experience Required:

• Qualification in Graphic design or Multimedia design

• Extensive experience in delivering responsive design experiences with a focus on UX and UI

• More than 5 years experience in leading and managing a digital creative and content team

• Extensive and proven experience in copywriting and content creation

• Proven ability in managing successful Digital Design, Graphic Design and Creative Copy teams

• 10 years extensive digital industry experience in a fast paced creative design environment, preferably in retail

• Experience in design for eCommerce

• Extensive experience in wireframe conceptualisation, sitemapping, content/data modelling and flow charting using premium UX software such as Axure, Balsamiq or Omnigraffle

• Advanced skills and proficiency in software applications on a Mac platform including: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Keynote

• Extensive knowledge of photography and studio production processes, including experience in Art Directing campaign photo shoots

• Thorough understanding of photography post production processes and superior retouching skills
