Digital Creative Director

Great long-term contract opportunity for the right digital creative leader. full-time, on-site in Austin. Our client is looking for a seasoned team builder and mentor to manage a team of talented in-house digital creatives.   This person will need to have a deep understanding of digital creative and best practice with at least 5+ years in the field.
-          Stay abreast of digital creative developments and industry advancements
o   Deliverables can include providing regular industry updates, at least 1x quarter, on digital creative trends  
-          Understanding the unique nuances of digital creative is a must, e.g., length of time to attract viewers attention, how to develop engaging executions, best use of frames, strong CTA’s, etc.
-          Ability to develop best of breed creative across upper, mid and lower funnel and cross channel to include social, mobile, etc
o   Creative must span ‘thought leadership’/brand assets all the way down to immediate CTA/lead gen activity
-          Expert knowledge of digital Rich Media development
o   Be able to develop creative which leverages digital assets to their best ability, e.g. webinars, videos, whitepapers, etc.
-          Ability to build mobile (tablet, handhelds, etc) appropriate assets as a part of all executions
-          Close working practice with all external creative agencies, managing the relationshipo   Will be a core participant in any future agency reviews and/or creative RFPs
-          Also have a close relationship with media agency to develop creative aligned with media plans
-          An understanding of dynamic and modular content
-          Understanding overall marketing mix and how digital assets fit into that
-          Strong handle on coding creative assets across all platforms up to HTML5
-          Working with external 3rd parties to deliver creative assets including proprietary partners
o   Knowledge of all creative ad specs and deliverables
-          Strong attention to detail across a very fluid landscape
-          Develop high level of understanding of internal creative asset tools
-          Work with all internal stakeholders to gain creative feedback and approval, also working with funding partners on joint assets
-          Delivering results back to the business
