Digital Copywriter / Content Strategist (Temp-Perm)

A large financial services and banking seeks a Digital Copywriter / Content Strategist for a Temp-Perm opportunity to join a creative, collaborative, creative agency-like team. The writer will create online customer experiences through words and interactions to support banking initiatives. He or She will develop compelling copy that embodies the down-to-earth, customer-friendly brand, voice, and tone and provide thoughtful content strategy for touch websites, touch devices, user interfaces, applications and digital marketing.

Primary Responsibilities

· Develop content and content strategies for one of two teams designated to UX needs

· Create high quality content that aligns to business objectives, as well as brand, voice and tone

· Collaborate with content editors and content strategists to create/maintain a best-in-class digital customer experience

· Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of the Bank's Content Style Guide standards

· Manage multiple projects and competing priorities

· Develop scalable content strategies for devices, sites, interfaces and assets

· Represent Content & Digital Services Team in Leadership Review of Deliverables


Requirements:

· Bachelors in related field (i.e. Communications, Marketing, Journalism/English, Usability/Research, or Business Psychology), Masters preferred.

· Experience managing client relationships and complex deliverables

· 5+ years prior experience writing online content. Portfolio requested.

· Prior experience with scalable solutions to address multiple digital mediums- mobile, web and tablet experience

· Experience developing and managing content in digital environments-i.e. conduct content audits, content strategy recommendations, persona assessments, taxonomy efforts, applied usability learnings.

· Must be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standard

· Excellent written communication and presentation skills

· Proven ability to balance business needs with customer experience

· Prior experience in User Experience, Usability or Creative Agency preferred 5+ years combined
