Digital Content Writer and Strategist

Our Fortune 500 financial/banking client in Charlotte, NC seeks a Digital Content Writer/Strategist to join its agency-style collaborative team! This role will focus on creating a friendly, exceptional online experience for banking customers (primarily supporting Deposits initiatives). This writer/strategist will develop compelling copy that embodies the brand, voice, and tone and as well as provide thoughtful content strategy for websites, user interfaces, apps and other digital marketing tools.

*This is an 6+ month, on-site opportunity in downtown Charlotte within a collaborative, agency-model team where creativity is of utmost value. Not your typical financial institution!

Primary Responsibilities::

· Develop content and content strategies for one of two teams designated to Deposits UX needs.

· Create high quality content that aligns to business objectives, as well as brand, voice and tone.

· Collaborate with content editors and content strategists to create/maintain a best-in-class digital customer experience.

· Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of the Bank's Content Style Guide standards.

· Manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

· Develop scalable content strategies for devices, sites, interfaces and assets.

· Represent Content & Digital Services Team in Leadership Review of Deliverables .


Requirements::

· Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred.

· Experience managing client relationships and complex deliverables.

· Must have demonstrated prior experience writing online content (portfolio or url samples).

· 5+ years experience at a Sr. Content or UX Lead level.

· Prior experience with solutions to address multiple digital mediums- mobile, web and tablet experience.

· Experience developing and managing content in digital environments-i.e. conduct content audits, content strategy recommendations, persona assessments, taxonomy efforts, applied usability learnings.

· Must be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standard.

· Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

· Proven ability to balance business needs with customer experience.

· Prior experience in User Experience, Usability or Creative Agency preferred 5+ years combined.
