Digital Content Strategist

Vitamin T is seeking a driven, dynamic content strategist to fill an exiting, full-time opportunity in the Metro Detroit area.

While tactical expertise is helpful, the ability to craft a vision and guide our designers, developers, and business partners through content strategy is paramount to success in this role. You will need a positive outlook, a passion for collaboration, and a belief in the power of content to transform and unite the customer experience.

As a content strategist on our team, you will be responsible for leading complex, long-term projects that balance our customers’ needs.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Project Leadership: The ability to drive complex, long-term content projects that engage multiple disciplines (editorial, SEO, UX, design, marketing) in pursuit of a common goal
- Organizational Agility: The ability to respect vertical business strategies while working and thinking horizontally
- Follow-Through: The ability to turn big-picture plans into actionable, measurable content initiatives, including guidelines, content templates, and process (e.g., content creation and workflow) documentation

Requirements:
· An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, English, journalism, technical publishing, or related fields, along with hands-on experience in Web content strategy or global Web content management.
· Passion for content strategy as a discipline and customer experience as a shared mission
· Effective organizational and project-management skills
· Ability to identify critical insights (whether through trends or through hard data) and organize them into actionable plans that can be shared across content, UX, development, and marketing
· Superior editing and proofreading skills, as well as demonstrable professional experience writing for the Web (particularly in global environments)
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, deadline-driven environment (prior Agile and Scrum experience desirable but not mandatory)
· Experience with social media, cross-platform publishing, and evolving trends in mobile publishing and design
· Experience with SEO (search engine optimization) and a general understanding of how to use search insights to drive content improvements
