Digital Content Strategist

We are working on several exciting openings for Digital Content Strategists with one of our Fortune 500 Financial Services clients in Charlotte. This is a great company to be a part of and it's an exciting time to be part of their strategy and design group which functions like and internal agency. They are a very collaborative and innovative group which supports multiple lines of business. They are looking for talented folks to join their growing team. Initial contract is for 6 months with the intention of converting the the right candidates. Position sits onsite with standard business hours Monday through Friday.

Position Overview:

The Digital Content Strategist creates a quality experience for the client’s customers through words and user-experience recommendations. This candidate will develop recommendations on user-experience and content edits as well as compelling copy that embodies the brand, voice, and tone and provide thoughtful content strategy for touch devices, websites, user interfaces, applications and digital marketing.
This person will work within a cross-functional team environment that includes Delivery Managers, UX Designers and Product Managers on various initiatives to improve the digital marketing experience for customers.

They need to have experience developing and managing content in digital environments such as:

  • Content audits

  • Content strategy recommendations

  • Persona assessments

  • Taxonomy efforts

  • Applied usability learnings

  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop content and content strategies including authenticated Online Banking customer experiences

  • Create high quality content that aligns to business objectives, as well as brand, voice and tone

  • Collaborate with content editors and content strategists to create/maintain a best-in-class digital customer experience across the digital landscape

  • Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of Content Style Guide standards

  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Develop scalable content strategies for devices, sites, interfaces and assets

  • Represent Content & Digital Services Team in Leadership Review of Deliverables

  • Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism/English, Usability/Research, or Business Psychology or comparable experience/portfolio.

  • Experience managing client relationships and complex deliverables.

  • Prior experience writing online content.

  • 5+ years experience - Sr. Content or UX Lead level a huge plus

  • Prior experience with scalable solutions to address multiple digital mediums- mobile, web and tablet experience

  • Must be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standard

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to balance business needs with customer experience

  • Nice to have:
    • Masters degree preferred but not required.
    • Portfolio requested but not required.
