Digital Content Specialist

The Digital Content Specialist is a key role in the Hasbro Content Services program. The Digital Content Specialist will partner with the business to perform an analysis and manage the on-boarding of new digital content to the Hasbro Content Services portal. This role will also provide support to the business content stewards and librarians as assets are created, edited, uploaded, distributed and archived globally. The position will be based in the Hasbro Content Services team and is expected to manage a matrix of resources both directly and dispersed to achieve project objectives.
Primary job functions:

  • Partner with the business content owners to evaluate new content types for on-boarding to the Hasbro Content Services Portal.
  • Liaise with third party and internal application experts to evaluate data models, security profiles and to enable content on-boarding.
  • Analyze, provide levels of effort and advise on workflow processes for taking in new content libraries.
  • Partner with a team of people whose primary goal is to upload, catalog and manage Hasbro’s rich media assets.
  • Define and maintain the structure of reference content (policies, user-guides, how-to, etc.)
  • Define standards to track and manage multiple versions of single instance of content.
  • Facilitate quarterly cross-functional content review panels to assist the business in keeping all content up-to-date.
  • Build strong relationships under tight deadlines with diplomacy and tact.
  • Establish and maintain formal content management process and metadata strategy.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to develop product roadmaps in support of current and future systems and technologies.
  • Establish and manage global content archiving process.
  • Review and share usage trends and audience feedback.
