Digital Content Specialist

Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a dynamic Communications Specialist to consult with their team to support their websites. This position is responsible for aligning with business segments and global marketing teams to develop engaging content and copy. This role will utilize SEM marketing to help develop and deploy compelling content for their business sites.


In this role, you will:

  • Write, review and edit website marketing content, while leveraging global content guidelines and best practices to assist in the execution of client promotions and light boxes, focusing on audiences, positioning, messages, vehicles, timing, and metrics
  • Work with various business partners to fulfill copy requests, such as alerts and informational messaging to larger project requests that span several areas of the site
  • Develop highly effective targeted marketing copy for our client's products and services
  • Lead weekly status meeting with the Content team and Promotions Manager
  • Assist in the development of web communications tactics. This may include processing copy through legal review and Spanish translation
  • Ensure all copy decks are properly documented with changes, project numbers and approvals to deliver consistent, useful and relevant creation, maintenance and removal of expired content
  • Assist with the creation of new copy decks, as needed, incorporating brand guidelines, compelling health and wellness and product content and a consistent look, feel, and navigation throughout all web properties
  • Edit scripts for demonstrations, both updating and rewriting as necessary
  • Ability to interpret and deliver brand voice while developing targeted content
  • Incorporate SEO strategies into content and leverage SEM keyword learning's to enhance search visibility
  • Monitor OpinionLab comments and make recommendations, as needed
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across multiple platforms, incorporating stakeholder feedback and updating teams on project progress
  • Must have omni-channel mindset and ability to integrate content and consistent messaging among all devices, channels and functions
  • Ensure editorial integrity of the site – keep an eye for inconsistencies, typos, etc.
