The Digital Content Publisher is responsible for maintaining and publishing content to support a variety of business initiatives across all platforms of website.com. Adept at using complex content management systems on a daily basis to execute requests to keep the site up to date and accurate at all times, including Q&A, maintaining file structure integrity, checking links and more. Comfortable tracking large amounts of information with a proven blend of web production and technical know-how as well as experience producing and maintaining content using a CMS for a website or digital property.
Executes interactive design concepts, layouts, explorations and production on assigned projects. Ensures timely deployment of all site content, consistency, and technical accuracy. Works cross functionally with content, user experience, the creative studio and project teams to develop and implement optimal design and publishing solutions. Provides quality assurance on creative deliverables Contributes to the development of the online creative culture and quality standards Focuses on content management systems and publishing. Responsible for deploying and removing content on demand. Works closely with Designers, Editors, Traffic Coordinator and IT partners. Escalates potential roadblocks or production issues as necessary. Able to react quickly when content requires changing/updating quickly. Has the ability to manage and resolve technical issues within CMS. Assures web-based information is archived for future needs and reference. Tracks and reports on content management tasks. Provides after hours support when needed. Follows internal CMS and workflow best practice policies & procedures. Actively seeks improvements and efficiencies in policies, procedures and CMS.
