Digital Content Planner - Web

Develop and implement tactics appropriate for use on the web in support of Digital Marketing. This includes the promotion of events, programs and related products on the web. Develop and implement tactics appropriate for use in social media in support of Digital Marketing.

Review and map existing social media content strategy and work with business partners and strategist to assure a messaging plan that incorporates social media best practices, and enterprise goals particularly as it pertains to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the firm’s blog. This includes the strategic use of post promotes and other audience building tools.
Work with web designer to develop graphical content for inclusion on the web and to build content design using a content management tool
Draft, review and submit social media content for Facebook, Twitter, and the firm’s blog.
Manage calendar of web promotions to keep landing pages fresh and up to date with current campaigns.
Work with web designer to develop graphical content for inclusion on the social media platforms in order to drive audience engagement.
Work with team, strategist and E-mail Marketing Administrator to develop and schedule brand-specific customer e-mails and inclusion of brand messaging in enterprise e-mails.
Create and/or support the development of video in support of brand messaging for social media channels. This includes scheduling photography for use in social media channels.
As assigned, re-write and/or plan web pages for optimal use of text, videos and/or photos.
Create and/or support the development of video in support of brand messaging on the web. This includes scheduling photography.

Skills
• Strong digital writing and editing skills.
• Strong capabilities to classify content using meta data and to develop a SEO strategy and implement a robust SEO tactical plan.
• Strong capabilities in use of Word Press or other blog publishing tools.
• Strong capabilities in the use of web content management systems.
• Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with challenging deadlines
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications or business discipline, highly-preferred
• 1-2 years in a digital communicator’s role, such as an e-mail marketer, social media specialist or web editor
• 3-5 years in a traditional marketing communications role that required a high-degree of project management and resource planning capabilities
