Content Marketing Specialist

Working with our client strategists and technical professionals, our content marketing specialists develop, write and manage the communications campaigns, promotions, and advertisements that drive our clients digital successes. From Facebook engagement to tweets to link building outreach to web release writing and more, our content specialists are creative, energized and driven to leverage content in new and exciting ways for our clients SEO, PPC and social media programs.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation and administration of day-to-day and scheduled maintenance tasks of the client's web and mobile sites, with equal emphasis placed on social media (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook). Responsibilities include researching and planning features/campaigns; requesting and ensuring content is delivered in a timely fashion and meet quality standards; building and updating sites/pages, managing SEO, troubleshooting, content management, tracking and reporting.

• Regular Website and mobile site and social sites maintenance and management
• Develop and input content into the CMS and other administrative consoles as required
• Coordinate the design, production, and fulfillment of multimedia or interactive content with on-time delivery
• Interface with cross-functional team members, including in-house creative production team, web development, project managers, IT, business partners, third party vendors as needed
• Ensure all content adheres to our guidelines (strategy, messaging, tone, style & editorial guidelines)
• Assist with creating new message boards/blogs, update promotion banners, announcements and community guidelines on an as-needed basis.
• E-newsletter – project management and coordination
• Editorial post creation and execution for digital channels
• Assist with unit testing and bug troubleshooting, perform user acceptance testing and complete any necessary content-management related steps prior to deployment completion.
• Track, analyze and review of our ongoing engagement programs for all content including email marketing, webinars, and social media channels (Blog, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Assist in management of SEO/SEM strategies and guidelines
• Reports on website and mobile site analytics

Professional Competencies

Proven track record of increasing web traffic and social media KPIs through savvy content marketing
Great writer, great thinker, strategically creative
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
Excellent project management and time management skills
2- years experience in the content marketing space with a company or marketing agency
Knowledge of various analytical software: Omniture Site Catalyst and Google analytics
Passion for continuously learning (through independent research, conferences, webinars, and more)
Experience working with social media monitoring and management tools (CMS knowledge)
Sense of ownership and accountability for your work
Ability to meet deadlines and self-manage workload
BS/BA degree in marketing communications, public relations, or journalism preferred

Preferred, but not required:
Web Design background – HTML/CSS/CS5/Photoshop Experience/JavaScript
Experience in entertainment industry
HTML, design, or usability experience
Video and/or graphics design experience a plus
