My client is seeking highly capable candidates to help drive monetisation of its products through the management of external ‘sponsored’ content.

The effective use of sponsored content, performance management of the services, and delivery of specific goals is a key part of the business. Quality of content is a priority.

This is an influential role that involves self-motivation, self-discipline and initiative, while working collaboratively with engineers, editors and monetisation teams internationally to bring effective results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day publishing, direction and performance of the content, and will be expected to manage and track engagement, optimise effectiveness, and deliver data-driven results and insights in a timely manner.

The role will be required to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive a successful business that engages and expands the audience, meets key metrics, grows revenue and delivers a foundation that properly represents the Company's Brand.

The position reports to the Editor in Chief.

Key responsibilities
- Drive engagement and monetization by selecting and filtering the most appealing content for our audiences
- Deliver sponsored stories per hour/day
- Responsible for currency of sponsored content and for what is trending
- Documenting processes and best practices to streamline execution

Knowledge and experiences
- Performance marketing in media companies with focus on content monetization
- Pay per click (PPC) campaigns: previous experience in managing performance based investments (SEM, performance marketing)
- Mobile marketing with focus on app downloads
- Affiliate marketing

Technical/Functional Skills
- Experience of performance platforms, publishing systems and CMS
- Strong analytics skills in multiple tools (eg. Taboola, Outbrain, Chartbeat, Omniture)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentational experience
- Excellent command of English
- Skilled in Excel

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills
- Good knowledge of digital marketing tactics
- Passion for consumers, technology and premium quality products
- Commitment to delivering results
- Asks for and listens to feedback and suggestions; a continuous improvement mentality
