Our Fortune 500 Media and Entertainment client is looking for a Digital Content & Editorial Manager to join their project team.
Responsibilities:
The digital content & editorial manager will be responsible for producing compelling multi-platform content and oversee editorial operations of our client's primetime entertainment website. They will write and edit articles, headlines and marketing copy, supporting their programming.
The ideal candidate will:
- Conceptualize digital ideas, provide execution strategies and set deliverable schedules
- Must have the ability to work within a multi-faceted marketing team, while functioning as the digital point person on a handful of projects and campaigns
- Must also specialize in copyediting, video producing and curating content
- Be a visual-storyteller, while proof read, edit, write articles and promotional copy
- Ideate and produce digital content supporting linear programs and special marketing projects
- Lead digital projects within a core team of marketers, creative and social team members
- Ensure timely publishing of quality content to maintain high consumer engagement
- Manage video publishing to primary website, as well as multiple distribution outlets and platforms
- Manage and execute sponsored opportunities with sales and marketing team members
- Maintain quality control standards across the website, troubleshoot and escalate where appropriate
- Work closely with other departments including creative, social, PR and digital distribution to execute strategies
- Supervise potential vendors providing media in support of marketing and digital initiatives
- Consistently optimize operational tasks to ensure efficiency, maximize resources and maintain the client's editorial voice
- Liaison with other digital content makers to create cross promotional opportunities
