A new opportunity for a Digital Communications Officer to join a multidisciplinary team has arisen. This will be a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, proactive and creative leader to join the business and take charge of online activities and presence.

Key aspects of the position will include reviewing, maintaining and enhancing the company website, increasing focus on mobile technology, managing and coordinating the publishing of all material to the website, and be a key driver of social media. You will balance technical knowledge with creative content.

• Drive innovation in social media and create engaging digital/multimedia content
• Manage and/or coordinate the publishing of all online material, including its review and approval
• Contribute to online business strategies and objectives, by ensuring the alignment of online planning with the communication strategy and strategic goals
• Continuously review the performance of online initiatives against benchmarks and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in relevant subject
• Knowledge and proven technical expertise in online publishing practices
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML
• Project management skills including identification of issues, scoping of projects, clarification of associated outcomes,
• CMS experience
• Previous experience in managing organisational online presence,
• Knowledge of and experience in SEO
• Sound understanding of and experience with content management systems
• Experience in managing and developing social networking, social media channels and tools,
• Experienced with online analytics tools.
