Digital Communications Coordinator

Our client is currently seeking a contractor to support the employment branding team. Employment branding refers to the practice of marketing a company to a targeted set of candidates. A large portion of this position will include identifying broad marketing techniques that can be leveraged to target candidates. Additionally, the branding contractor will help to develop effective communication strategies for reaching potential candidates with a heavy focus on social media tactics.

We are seeking an individual interested in gaining valuable knowledge and experience in leveraging technologies and social media to market the company to potential candidates. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in downtown St. Louis, MO and reports directly to the Sourcing Strategies Consultant in Human Resources

This position requires exceptional research skills and the ability to multi-task at a high level.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and execute internet based social networking strategies including sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube,
    LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+ and blogs.
  • Develop relevant content that is shared consistently across appropriate networks. Moderate, post/engage, respond and
    forward (as needed) within the brand?s social communities.
  • Assist with the redesign of the career website and any future upgrades, management and maintenance of the
    website
  • Assist with tracking of web and social metrics and present actionable recommendations to optimize engagement and
    increase awareness.
  • Work with current Talent Sourcing associates to learn and understand the internal recruiting process.
  • Participate in employment brand related projects including market research studies and strategic development as
    assigned.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to the Talent Sourcing Team and strategic customers.
  • Work with the Talent Sourcing Team to research new online sourcing technologies and tools.
  • Utilize search engines and online journals to research the latest trends in the employment industry, leverage social
    networking for recruitment, and new sourcing strategies that leverage technologies.
  • Assist with implementation of new technology tools, strategies, etc. that are focused on the ideal candidate target.
  • Multi-task, work independently, and within a team.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION:
  • Must currently possess a bachelors degree with a preferred emphasis in Human Resources, Marketing, Interactive
    Digital Media, Social Networking, Psychology, or Business
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week on the assignment in St. Louis.

    SKILLS:
  • Experience working with social networking sites required. 1+ years of experience with communication planning or social
    media/community management required. Strong PC skills and experience with MS Outlook email and scheduling, MS
    Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet and website navigation preferred. Strong written communication skills and creative
    thinking is a plus.
