Our client, one of the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organizations with a membership of more than 37 million needs an experienced Digital Business Development Consultant. The Digital Business Development Consultant will be responsible for developing new digital partnerships that support the achievement of the clients' digital goals. This position is on the Digital Strategy and Operations team and will report to the VP, Digital Operations.

If you demonstrate a strong bias for action, a sense of urgency and are very results focused then this position is ideal for you. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to sift through the ‘noise’ to figure out what is essential and how to deliver results. You MUST possess Digital Media business development experience and have proven success cultivating digital deals.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Identifying partnership opportunities that further the clients' business objectives
• Conducting competitive analysis and evaluating potential partners
• Integrate research and industry scans in the development of partnerships
• Evaluating revenue opportunity
• Deal negotiation
• Contract management in collaboration with Procurement and Legal departments
• Working with internal teams to launch partnerships
• Manage performance of existing partnerships via key success metrics, and feedback from marketing, product, editorial and ad sales
• Ongoing general account management support for live deals
• Interacts and maintains relationships enterprise-wide, as needed for business development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• 5+ years total experience, with at least 2 years in digital media
• Results oriented individual who will ‘get the job done’
• Creative problem solver and innovative thinker
• Negotiation experience
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient with web analytics tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Collaborative work style.
