A large advertising agency is looking for a Business Analyst to to join their digital team. This team is crucial in delivering and supporting the business growth with scoping and development of both internal and external projects and management of the company’s UK and global projects.

The Role:

I am looking for a Self-starting Business Analyst to join the digital team and as such need to be able to work with limited direction and capable of clearly defining suitable business analysis processes.

The candidate:

You’re an established Business Analyst with solid experience working for digital clients/agencies to join our growing digital team based in Soho. The work is varied with both direct and agency clients. There is a growing need to better define the client opportunity and business requirements through both the new biz/discover phase and during delivery of projects via the project management, design and development team.

The Business Analyst will work closely with clients, traditional account teams and digital production team to deliver our ambitious target of becoming the UK’s leading production agency.

The job:

Work with business users to gain an understanding of their business and digital requirements.
Gain an understanding of primary technical capabilities (both onshore and offshore teams) and confidently discuss their features, limitations.
Work with the management team to define and deliver new business proposals.
Meet with key client business stakeholders to develop an understanding of the business need and objectives.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys
Develop functional specifications and high-level system design.
Working alongside the Lead Developer, Lead Designer and Lead Project Manager to define best approach from a delivery and commercial perspective.
Collaborate with tech, design and PM teams to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between requirements and practical project.
Assist in QA and defining testing strategy and risks.

The Requirements:

Must have previous experience as a Business Analyst in a fast paced digital agency or client side environment.
Strong understanding and passion for the digital landscape and current/best practice
Strong attention to detail and a problem solving nature.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and project management.
Strong numeracy from a cost estimate and analysis perspective.
An interest in UX with the ability to demonstrate and verbalise user flows and behaviours.
Solid understanding of technical development across front and back end dev
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on being clear and concise.
Experience working and communicating with both business users and digital teams.
Experience of, or an interest in, Media, Marketing, Web development, Social and Marketing Campaign Production Workflows.
Must have experience of working with stakeholders.
Experience of working with Jira or similar project management tool.
Must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree or equivalent
